To help stop the spread of COVID-19 He’eia State Park is operating at reduced hours. As of October 8th, the Park will be open to the public, Tuesday through Saturday, from 8am to 4pm. Our future plans will be aligned with the ordinances set forth by the City & County of Honolulu's Reopening Strategy and the Department of Land and Natural Resources. Please check back for updates to the park's status.

Volunteer and Help Heʻeia

Our next park clean-up could be just around the corner!

As the stewards of He'eia State Park, we are in constant search of volunteer groups or corporate teams looking to give back to their community. With over 18-acres to care for, volunteer work is always welcome at the park and can be arranged through our on-site, administrative staff.

Whether it be general upkeep, fence restoration, or the removal of invasive plants, service projects can be organized based on your request to align with your group’s mission.

Visit our Volunteer page for more information on how volunteers can help and how to schedule a clean up for yourself or your group!
