In an effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19, He’eia State Park is closed to the public until May 31st, 2020.

COVID-19 Impact

As the global effect of the COVID-19 virus continues to evolve, Kama’aina Kids at He`eia State Park is firmly committed to the health and safety of our employees, guest and communities. On March 18, 2020, the State of Hawai’i ordered the shutdown of all State Parks in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 virus. The park is currently closed to the public through May 31st. Any event scheduled during this time period must be canceled and will be refunded in full. Ultimately our goal is to ensure that we are in compliance with CDC guidelines for social distancing and following the directives of the Department of Land and Natural Resources. We continue to monitor the situation and will resume operations when it is deemed safe. To cancel or check on the status of your Banquet Hall or Hale reservation, please call the He‘eia State Park office at 235-6509 or email
